THE PASS
by Madison Four
Restaurant websites, crafted.
The design studio for restaurants. Websites that carry your hospitality online and turn lookers into guests.
The Craft
Designed. Built. Found.
All in service of the guest.
Madison Four designs and builds restaurant websites end to end, from identity and interface to engineering and the search foundations that make them discoverable. Every decision is grounded in how guests find, choose, and return to a restaurant.
Design
Identity, interface, and menus, all designed to seat more guests.
Build
Custom, fast, resilient builds. No templates, nothing off the shelf.
SEO / AEO
Search visibility on Google and in AI answers alike.
Guest Journey
Reservations, ordering, and calls, with conversion built into every page.
Digital Experiences
Websites guests find,
whether they search or ask.
We design and build custom restaurant websites that carry your hospitality online: fast, beautiful, and built to convert lookers into covers.
Every build is engineered for how guests actually discover restaurants now: structured for Google's rankings and legible to the AI assistants guests increasingly ask instead. Search engine optimization and answer engine optimization, one foundation.
- SEO
- Rankings & local intent
- AEO
- Present in AI answers
- CRO
- Bookings, orders, calls

The Test Kitchen
Every kitchen has a place where the menu gets proven before it reaches a guest. These are ours: complete restaurants we invented, designed, and built end to end, so you can see the work rather than read about it.

FEEDBACK
A burger counter you have to turn up before it feeds you.
- Scroll, drag and tap all drive the same cook, reconciled to one scroll position
- Sound is synthesised in the Web Audio API — no files, no autoplay, off until asked
- Three sauces, three genuinely different waveform functions
More rooms in the kitchen. Yours could be the next one.
Engagements
Three ways to work
with the studio.
Every engagement includes the full search foundation, SEO and AEO, engineered in from the first line of code. Floors are published so you can plan; every project is quoted to the restaurant.

How payment works
Forty percent reserves your place on the calendar and begins the work. Thirty percent when you approve your design direction. The final thirty percent at launch. No surprises, and nothing due you haven't already seen. The Residency is simply billed monthly.
On timelines
Timelines run from the day we have your deposit and your content: menu, photography, and story. Send those promptly and we hold the dates. We move fast; we just can't plate what hasn't reached the kitchen.

The pass is where a restaurant's standards live. Every dish is inspected, organized, and handed from kitchen to service with intention, under the light.
We named our studio after it because that is how we treat your website. Every detail considered. Every page working. Every experience prepared to perform. Nothing reaches the guest without purpose.
Anyone can launch a website. We conduct one.
Questions
What owners ask before they start.
01How much does a restaurant website cost?
A complete custom restaurant website from The Pass is $4,000, and a full redesign of an existing site is $3,000. Ongoing care, hosting and search tuning is $900 a month and is optional. Payment runs forty percent to reserve the calendar, thirty percent when you approve the design direction, and thirty percent at launch.
02How long does it take to build a restaurant website?
Two to three weeks for a new site, and ten days to two weeks for a redesign. Timelines run from the day the deposit and your content are in hand, not from the first conversation.
03Do you use templates like Squarespace, Wix or WordPress?
No. Every site is designed and built from nothing, with no templates and nothing off the shelf. A template makes your restaurant look like every other restaurant that bought it, and it puts a ceiling on speed and on what the site can be made to do.
04Do you work with restaurants anywhere in the United States?
Yes. The studio works with restaurants across the United States and the work is done remotely — calls, shared files and a review link from the first conversation through to launch, so where the room is has no bearing on what gets built. Search is still tuned to your own market: local intent, your city, your neighbourhood, the streets guests actually type.
05Do I still need a website if my restaurant is on Instagram and Google?
Yes, because those are rented and a website is owned. A social profile cannot take a reservation on your terms, cannot be found for the searches that matter, and can change its rules or its reach without asking you. Your site is the one place where the menu, the hours and the booking are yours.
06Will my restaurant show up in AI answers like ChatGPT or Google's AI Overviews?
That is what answer engine optimisation is for, and it is included in every build rather than sold separately. Assistants answer from structured, machine-readable facts — your menu, hours, location and dishes marked up so they can be quoted — which is a different job from ranking on a page of blue links.
07Can guests book a table or order directly from the website?
Yes. Menus, reservations and ordering are wired into every build, so a guest can go from finding you to holding a table without leaving the site. Conversion is designed into each page rather than added at the end.
08Who updates the menu after the site launches?
The Residency covers it at $900 a month: menu and seasonal updates handled, hosting and security, ongoing search and AI-visibility tuning, and a monthly note on what changed and why. It is month to month, and you can step away at any time.
09What do you need from me to get started?
Your menu, your photography if you have it, and an hour of your time to talk about the room. Everything else is the studio's job. Requesting a consultation is answered within one business day.
10Do you redesign an existing restaurant website, or only build new ones?
Both. The Refresh is a full redesign rebuilt from the ground up on a custom foundation, with the menu and content restructured for guests and a speed and mobile pass, for $3,000.
